Radio Garden is a live radio which brings distant Voices to close, radio garden connects people and places. It allows the listeners to explore Radio and FM processes of broadcasting and hearing identities across the entire Globe.
How does Radio Garden work?
The site interface is three – dimensional geolocation, where you navigate through a representation of the terrestrial globe, listening to broadcasts from local radio stations, referring in some way to the technology of shortwave radios, of long distances, but in this case, the medium of propagation of the radiophonic edition is by data packages ( streaming ) The home page, called Live, the user can explore in the world, in real-time, what local radio stations are transmitting. To do this, simply rotate the globe. It also provides information about the country where the signal is being transmitted, the radio, and other relevant information. The site adopted the generic .garden Top Domain, which was originally targeted at gardening professionals,  and, as noted on specialized sites, the interface is all responsive and fits into any browser and resolution however, the app on Google Play already has more than 5000 downloads and is rated 4.4 / 5.0. For transmission, the signal generated by the station must be converted from broadcast edition to streaming. The service depends on an internet connection to work. The accepted conversion formats for streaming are mp3, Ogg and aac.
