Changes and Improvements in Windows 11 Insider Preview Build Update 22000.132

Microsoft has released Windows Insider Preview build update 22000.132 to everyone in the Dev and Beta Channel. This build was released on August 12, 2021, and it comes with some of the major changes and quality improvements. This build comes with major changes in Teams Chat, Snipping tool, Calculator, Mail app, and Calendar app. we’ll see what are all the changes and improvements present in this insider preview build update.

 One of the main and notable changes is that the Teams Chat app is officially rolled out in this build, you can find the teams chat app icon on the Windows 11 taskbar. You can now chat, call group audio, and video call using the Teams chat app. Also, the teams chat app allows you to create and join meetings via the app and you can manage your device settings like choosing the preferred speakers, mic, and camera. This is just a preview app, but it got improved a lot compared to before, you can manage meeting information and options. You can share your screen, see the roster of participants, admit meeting participants from the lobby, chat, and see people’s videos in a gallery view.

The next major update in Windows 11 is both the classing Snipping tool and Snip & Sketch apps have been replaced by a New snipping tool. This new Snipping tool includes new visuals and updated menus with added functionality. Now you can open the snipping tool by pressing the Windows + Shift + S keyboard shortcut.

The snipping tool got Four different modes to capture the screen, Rectangle, Window, Free-Form, and Full-Screen Mode.

Also, the Snipping tool provides editing tools for annotations, improved cropping, and more editing tools like ruler, Ballpoint marker, highlighter, and touch writing.

And finally, the Snipping tool now responds to the Windows Theme, it will automatically switch to dark theme if you set your windows theme to dark.
