But sometimes, if you are using a sensitive touchpad we might accidentally move the files to a different location this might be annoying to us. Disable Desktop Drag and Drop Functionality:

Open the Run command by pressing Windows + R and type Regedit and hit enter. This will open Registry Editor Console.
Now Navigate to the following path.
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
From the Left-hand side click on the Desktop Registry Key and from the Right-hand side look for the following String Values.
- DragHeight
- DragWeight
Double click on the String Values and modify the value, Enter Value Data as 2000, and hit enter.
Click on Ok and Restart the system once. This will reduce the sensitivity of the Drag and Drop functionality.
