Disable PIN reset in Windows 10:
Note: Modifying the Registry is risky, and it causes irreversible damage to your OS Installation Follow the steps correctly. Friendly advice Before Modifying Registry Creating Restore Point is recommended.
Open the Run command by pressing Windows + R and type Regedit and hit enter. This command will open Registry Editor Console.
Now Navigate to the following path.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\NgcPin
From the Left-hand side click on the NgcPin Registry key and from the right-hand side look for the EnablePinReset DWORD. By default, the DWORD value is set to 15 in Decimal base and f in Hexadecimal base.
To disable the PIN Reset, Just modify the EnablePinReset value to 0 and click on OK.
Close the registry editor and restart the system once. This will disable the PIN Reset option.
If you want to enable it back, then just reset the value to 15 back again. This will enable the PIN reset option.
